Parade Rehearsal

There will be a rehearsal for our Saturday Parade on Friday - if you are able to attend it is appreciated. The rehearsal will be at Arundel Castle at 09:30.

Regular practise Thursday night 29th November, preparation for our upcoming 1st Dec parade - salutes, march past and CO's parade music. Please bring your music books and practise instruments.

We will also be working on our performance pieces for Friday night, 30th Nov - at the Wardroom. For the event, no uniform or kilts - dress pants with Pipes and Drums golf shirt or blue/black golf shirt. 

Both events are noted in the blog calendar.

If you are available for a parade rehearsal at Arundel Castle, your attendance will be appreciated - unfortunately we don't have a time, it will be a short notice event.

Oak Bay Cenotaph - 06:00 November 11th, 2018. Pipers Mary Macauley and Neil Campbell playing P/M William Robbs retreat 'When the Battles O'er' for the National Piping Centre tribute. Why so early? The Armistice of Compiegne was signed at that time, November 11th, 1918, marking the end of fighting on the Western Front and ultimately the end of The Great War.

Thanks to everyone who were able to participate in the Sidney Remembrance parade, the ANAVET's performance, the quick visit to the Mills Road Branch and the remainder of the Legion Tour at Britannia and Esquimalt Branches. Our final performance for the day was well received for a good reason - we were cracking!
